Good News and Bad News for 2014 CSA Season

The Good News: Eener’s Farm will be welcoming a new little farmer on August 1.

The Bad News: Eener will need to go on maternity leave. As a result, the farm will not do a regular 18 week CSA season this year.

What The Farm Will Be Doing This Season Instead: There will still be monthly meat and egg deliveries (second Saturday of every month to Stillwater, Hudson and many other Twin Cities Metro areas). And since some produce is already planted or in some cases the seed is already ordered we will have some produce available for sale on those deliveries too. For example garlic, rhubarb, potatoes and such.

We’ll continue to send out The Meaty Turnip via e-mail which has farm news and a list of what we have for sale every month. If you or someone you know would like to start receiving this, request it by e-mail (eenermachine@gmail.com).

Will Eener’s Farm Weekly CSA Season Be Back In 2015?: Yes! Plan on it!

What Should You Do If You Already Signed Up For 2014? Well, we contacted River Market Co-op, Fresh and Natural Foods and Hampden Park Co-op and they each gave us a list of recommended CSA farms that deliver to their locations:

River Market: The Backyard Grocery, Burning River Farm, Turnip Rock Farm, LTD Farm.

Fresh and Natural Foods: Sylvan Hills Farm, Axdahl’s Garden Farm and Greenhouse, Fresh Earth Farms

Hampden Park Co-op: Blackbrook Farm, Sleepy Root Farm, Belle Creek Gardens

Sorry For The Inconvenience: Deciding to not do our usual 18 weeks this coming summer was a difficult decision to make. But we think it's the right one due to the timing of everything. We hope our members understand. Wait, of course they'll understand, because our members are awesome!
